A message from General Manager Jack Van’t Groenewout

First and foremost, I want to thank every person involved with keeping our country’s healthcare systems up and running during this pandemic. From those providing care to the people supporting them, you have all demonstrated resilience, empathy and dedication on an unprecedented level.

And that includes everyone here at HemoCue. Overnight, everything we knew about conducting business changed. We replaced commutes and conference rooms with video calls at our kitchen tables.

Jack Van't Groenewout

First and foremost, I want to thank every person involved with keeping our country’s healthcare systems up and running during this pandemic. From those providing care to the people supporting them, you have all demonstrated resilience, empathy and dedication on an unprecedented level.

And that includes everyone here at HemoCue. Overnight, everything we knew about conducting business changed. We replaced commutes and conference rooms with video calls at our kitchen tables. Family life was upended for so many of you, yet you never missed a beat. Thanks to our Operations and Logistics teams, our product manufacturing and deliveries never wavered. The phones at HemoCue OnCue Support were always answered. You knew customers needed us now more than ever, and you all went above and beyond.

To our customers, I am forever grateful for your extraordinary efforts. You have persevered in the face of incredible uncertainty. You have uplifted those who were suffering while sacrificing so much of yourself. As we say in our campaign, you have exemplified the point of care. You have inspired us to create new, innovative products and services to help you provide the best care possible regardless of what lies ahead.

This year will not soon be forgotten, but it is not because of the adversity and turmoil we experienced. On the contrary, I will remember this year because I saw the best of humanity shine. We embraced change, banded together and lifted each other up. Let’s go into the new year with the spirit and confidence that together, we can overcome any challenge.

I am honored to call you my coworkers, customers and friends. Thank you all for your efforts and grace as they have been truly inspiring. Happy holidays, and may you have a safe, healthy and prosperous new year.

Sincerely,

Jack
